PAR LIGHT BULBS - REFLECTORS

Reflector light bulbs

Reflector light bulbs focus light output in a specific direction and beam angle. PAR lamps have an internal shape (Parabolic Aluminized Reflector) and a thick glass lens which allow more specific control of beam angle.

Spot Light bulbs are used to keep a specific area or item lit as well as for climate control in a warehouse; also for dimmable fixtures. In a factory they are used to light up a specific small area that needs to be focused on, such as auto parts assembly or parts to a small product being manufactured. Power output ranges from 30 watts to 200 watts and voltage can be as high as 130 volts. Ranges in size from 3 inches to 12 inches in diameter and come in either yellow or clear. They last up to 1000 hours.

Flood Lights cover larger areas than spot bulbs; they are used to accentuate the features of a building or a landmark. In addition, they are used to light up large areas of factories for safety purposes. Furthermore they are used for lighting fish tanks in a fish farm and also to promote plant growth at a nursery. There are three types of flood lighting applications: facade, sign and general area. They consume 75% less energy than standard incandescent light bulbs, voltage is 120 volts per bulb and wattage output ranges from 25 watts to as much as 700 watts. Depending on the size and wattage they can last as much as six months to a year and more. They come in a variety of colors such as clear, pink, red and yellow.
