Description
The 19002A is a 4-inch IC-Rated housing that's suitable for new construction in residential and commercial applications and rated for direct contact with insulation. Integral thermal sensors protect against overheating, shutting the fixture off if the heat exceeds normal temperatures. The airtight housing limits the escape of air between ceiling plenum and heated/cooled areas to further insulate your home. The housing adjusts from 0.5 to 1.5-inches to accommodate ceiling thickness and its 6-inch height allows it to be used in 2 x 8-inch joist construction. The 19002A is listed for through-branch wiring and supplied with IDEAL push-in wire connectors to make wiring as simple as possible. Each bracket includes pre-set nails, ready to hammer.
